THE FRAME

Steel tubing for our residential line is treated using powder coating process, while frames for our truss buildings are double galvanized. Whether you choose from our line of residential shelters or select one of our truss-framed industrial buildings, you can rely on a frame with the structural integrity to surpass your expectations.

Why do we powder coat?

Powder coating only looks like paint, while in fact it acts like armor. It gives the tubing an attractive, durable high-quality finish, that is also environmentally friendly and virtually pollution free. Our powder coating process makes tubing highly chip and scratch resistant, it helps eliminate sharp 

edges.  Powder coating is so durable that the U.S. Navy uses it for deck side components and weapons systems. We found it to be the best protective finish for our residential shelters.

Why do we double galvanize?

Simple, for superior protection against corrosion. Steel tube manufactured products often wear from the inside out. Our double galvanization process puts an abrupt end to this problem. Treated with full hot dipped zinc galvanization and chromate washes, the interior surface of our tube is endowed with heightened resistance to salt, rust, and other corrosive elements. This protection treatment proved to be the most efficient for industrial trussed buildings.

Basically, it translates into worry-free protection, no matter which shelter you will decide to purchase. Buildings from Cover-ItŪ are true all weather shelters, from the top to bottom, inside and out. All of our frame materials are backed by a 2 year warranty.

THE FABRIC

Standard material is ideally suited for all residential and light industrial applications. It has been tested to withstand years of UV light, winter cold and summer heat.

• Woven reinforced "High Density Polyethylene" fabric scrim

• 10 to 12 year life expectancy. 1 Year Warranty.

• Bursting strength is 405 psi (Mullen)
