  Have a Unique Car or Added Aftermarket Accessories

  We have custom patterns for most vehicles from 1917 to present. However, if you have rare vehicle, modified vehicle with aftermarket parts, or custom build project car we can still make a custom car cover for you. If you have a stock vehicle use our vehicle selector on any of our car covers and we'll automatically match you to the correct custom car cover pattern for your vehicle.   Simple Custom Measurement Steps

  1. Select the appropriate Dimension Sheet for your vehicle and complete the Vehicle Information section of the sheet.
  2. Mark the vehicle at the points specified on the Dimension Sheet. We suggest using small pieces of masking tape.
  3. Take individual length measurements by measuring HORIZONTALLY from point-to-point as depicted on the Dimension Sheet. Length measurements should NOT include vehicle contours.
  4. Measure the Overall Length of the vehicle and compare that measurement with the sum of the individual measurements. If the two do not match, then retake measurements to locate the discrepancy.
  5. Take height measurements as depicted on the Dimension Sheet. All height measurements should be taken from the GROUND. Height measurements can include vehicle contours. Measure ground clearance.
  6. Take width measurements as depicted on the Dimension Sheet. Width measurements should be taken ACROSS the vehicle from side to side and can include vehicle contours.
  7. Provide photos of the vehicle when submitting measurements. A profile, front and rear photo are desired.

  At Covercraft we fully understand the need to cover the vehicle when not driving giving you a clean and ready to drive vehicle. This shouldn't come at the sacrifice of your ability to charge modern vehicles and why we specially tailor these covers for your convenience and safety. There are a few different ways we design for electric vehicles which really depends how the EV was engineered.

  Most EV Vehicle & Hybrid Car Covers

  The most common EV accommodation we make is adding a charging flap. This allows you to easily charge your EV vehicle without having to remove half the cover to access your charge port. Each cover is custom tailored to your vehicle and you can be sure the flap will be where you need it.

  Car Covers for EV's with Undercarriage Covered

  Some electric cars have a sealed or enclosed undercarriage. This causes a problem if you try to charge a vehicle as there are vent systems in the front of the vehicle. Due to this when our pattern team finds an EV has an undercarriage covered we'll include a front mesh grille into the cover. This allows the electric vehicle to safely vent when charging with a car cover fully installed. Common vehicles with the undercarriage covered are Chevrolet Bolt, Ford Mustang Mache-E, and even Tesla models.

  Tesla Car Covers

  

  Tesla's are a unique EV design and require additional venting at the front wheels. For Tesla vehicles we'll not only add the charging flaps, front grille vent, but also wheel vents. Sorry this isn't just to show off those stunning Tesla rims & iconic EV logo.

  Are All Car Covers Compatible for EV Charging

  Almost all of our car covers are specially patterned to allow for the needed charging and venting with electric vehicles. However, our most luxurious indoor FormFit Car Cover does not yet support this. Our design team and engineers are working on a solution that allows for charging, but doesn't compromise the material and fit. However, the sub-model can be vague at times from the vehicle manufacturer or can be confused with trim package.
